Barclay Simpson is seeking a senior Data Architect to define the data foundations behind a major Data and AI transformation. You will own how data is modelled, governed and used across executive reporting, analytics and AI, shaping architecture standards and reusable patterns across data products and quality.

This role requires credibility to influence stakeholders across data, engineering, security, privacy and AI, with autonomy to shape an evolving environment.

A global technology-focused business is seeking a senior Data Architect to define the data foundations behind a major Data and AI transformation.

You’ll take ownership of bringing clarity and structure to a complex international data landscape, shaping how critical data is modelled, governed and used across executive reporting, analytics and AI.

This is an opportunity to set the approach rather than inherit one. You’ll define architecture standards and reusable patterns across data modelling, lineage, metadata, data products and quality, while influencing future platform and tooling decisions.

The role will suit a senior or principal-level Data Architect who combines strong technical breadth with the credibility to influence stakeholders across data, engineering, security, privacy and AI. You’ll need to be pragmatic, comfortable with ambiguity and capable of delivering value before every tool and capability is fully established.

This is a high-impact position with the autonomy to shape an evolving data environment and create architecture that becomes embedded across the organisation.

The role offers hybrid working in Chelsea/Sloane Square, with four days per week in the office.
