Job summary

Hitachi Solutions Europe is expanding its consulting team and seeks Senior Data Consultants to deliver advanced analytics for UK clients. You will leverage data engineering and BI tools to advise on data best practices and deliver analytics solutions on time and within budget.

The role focuses on modern data platforms, dashboards, and AI-enabled analytics across industries, with a strong emphasis on client impact and scalable cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong client facing experience in a consultancy or SI role.
• Experience designing or developing BI/analytics solutions using the Microsoft BI stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
• Design & develop dashboards using Power BI, QlikView or Tableau.
• Model and transform data, build ETL solutions.
• Proficient in Python.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric/Databricks.
• Experience in Data Engineering and AI including ML and Generative AI integrations.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• All candidates must be eligible for Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on data and analytics best practices and deliver capabilities on time and budget.
• Capture client requirements and model data for an effective intelligence solution architecture.
• Develop bespoke data platforms, BI and analytics solutions using latest cloud technologies.
• Implement data management and transformation best practices.
• Design and develop reports and dashboards to present information clearly.
