Job summary

RELX INC, via its STMJ Data & Analytics team, seeks a Senior Data Analyst in London or Oxford to lead analytics projects, partner with senior stakeholders, and shape business decisions through data.

You will work autonomously, mentor junior analysts, and collaborate with enterprise-grade platforms within a global information and analytics leader focused on research communications and healthcare outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate ability to influence decision-making through data-backed recommendations.
• Proven experience managing projects and delivering results independently.
• Strong understanding of core analytics concepts, such as data modelling, blending, and visualization.
• Experience balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Comfort with rapidly evolving tech and learning new tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex analytics projects from planning through delivery, translating business problems into an actionable plan.
• Serve as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, guiding hypothesis-driven thinking and challenging assumptions with data.
• Identify and implement relevant analyses, metrics, and reporting solutions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with effective prioritisation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to overcome challenges and deliver results.
• Continuously evaluate new tools/techniques, including AI-assisted analytics.
• Coach and mentor junior analysts, sharing best practices.
