Job summary

Elsevier in London or Oxford (also listed in London Wall and Amsterdam) seeks a senior analytics leader to drive complex data projects, partner with senior stakeholders, and deliver actionable insights across STMJ. Responsibilities

  • Lead complex analytics projects from planning through delivery, translating loosely defined business problems into a clear plan of action.
  • Act as a trusted thought partner to senior stakeholders, shaping strategy, guiding hypothesis-driven thinking, and challenging assumptions through data.
  • Identify and execute relevant analyses, metrics, and reporting solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business and technical teams to overcome challenges and deliver results.
  • Adapt to new tools and technologies, evaluating and adopting emerging techniques, including AI-assisted analytics.
  • Coach and mentor junior data analysts, sharing best practices and analytical expertise.

Salary: £65,000 - 105,000 per year

Requirements:
