Job summary

RBC seeks a Data Analyst to ensure accurate pricing and reference data across trading, NAV, and regulatory reporting. You will maintain data integrity in core systems, resolve pricing issues, and drive process improvements while collaborating with Investment Desks, IT, Risk, and Fund Accounting.

Qualifications

• Must-have demonstrable experience in a Data Analyst role, preferably within Asset Management.
• Data literacy with advanced Excel skills.
• Intermediate Python knowledge.
• Demonstrable usage of generative AI.
• Strong communication skills.
• Nice-to-have degree in STEM or Finance.
• SQL knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate, timely, and complete pricing and reference data to support trading, NAV, and reporting.
• Maintain data integrity across core systems and resolve exceptions.
• Analyse large data sets using Excel, VBA, SQL, Python.
• Collaborate with internal teams on new initiatives and data translations.
• Engage with system upgrade projects and monitor data flow impacts.
• Provide weekly updates to senior management.
