Location and dedication: UK based would be best. Ideally, commutable to Cobham, but not essential. Someone open to potentially starting later (~10am) and working to 6-7pm would be ideal, but we are flexible on hours for the right person.

Overview

Will be responsible for supporting the lead Marketing Analytics manager in day-to-day tasks. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and SQL. Experience with visualization tools, such as PowerBI, is a plus. In addition to technical skills, this candidate needs to prioritize projects and be comfortable communicating with various stakeholders.

Key Skills (rated 1-10):

  • SQL, in GBQ (Google Big Query) - 8
  • GA4 - 7
  • PowerBI - 4
  • PowerPoint - 5

Responsibilities

  • Use SQL to create new tables, as well as clean & enhance existing tables. Google Big Query experience preferred.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines that bring together various data sources.
  • Monitor latest industry trends and updates, such as Google platform changes.
  • Assist in PowerPoint presentations, formatting data from dashboards into visually appealing slides.

Soft skills: reliability, stakeholder management, communication, storytelling with data, proactive trend and anomaly identification, meeting scheduling (Outlook and Teams).

Nice to have: Capable 'doer' with potential to evolve into a strategic data leader, supporting broader marketing and organizational processes with a data-led approach.

Ideal to have knowledge (not necessarily expertise) in:

  • Web Measurement Plan (WMP)
  • Enhanced lead scoring methodologies
  • Addressing data discrepancies between platforms
  • Refining SEO & paid media tracking
  • Migrating and merging GA properties
