Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group in London is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead Data & AI initiatives, shaping data platforms and engineering teams in a hybrid setup. You’ll influence technical direction, drive data architecture, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes.

The role demands strong leadership across Azure-based data ecosystems, multi-vendor delivery, and modern DevOps practices while enabling innovation and scale.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Data Engineering or Data Platform teams in large enterprises.
• Experience managing multi-vendor engineering programmes and delivery models.
• Strong understanding of Agile, governance and delivery assurance.
• Technical expertise across Azure, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, SharePoint and Azure DevOps.
• Proven ability to scale teams and develop engineering capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop high-performing Data & AI engineering teams.
• Act as senior technical authority across Azure-based data platforms.
• Drive evolution of enterprise-scale data architecture and standards.
• Embed Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and engineering best practices.
• Coach Leads and senior engineers to build capability and leadership.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to align delivery with business goals.
• Oversee vendor-led delivery, ensuring quality and governance.
• Own platform stability, performance and operational excellence.
• Champion continuous improvement and adoption of emerging Data & AI tech.
