Job summary

eFinancialCareers is seeking a Manager - AI & Data Architect in London. The role combines client-facing delivery with advanced data architecture across transformation projects.

You will design modern data platforms, cloud solutions, data pipelines and governance, while leading teams and ensuring architectural quality. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data engineering/architecture, consultancy experience and strong SQL, with exposure to AI/ML integration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Architecture.
• Experience in consultancy and client-facing delivery.
• Strong cloud data platform knowledge and modern data services.
• Experience leading data engineering projects and teams.
• Knowledge of data governance, quality and metadata management.
• Exposure to AI/ML within data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data architecture across transformation programmes.
• Design data platforms, cloud, ETL, analytics and AI solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and governance.
• Develop data quality, governance and metadata frameworks.
• Translate complex data concepts for senior stakeholders.
• Engage with clients to translate requirements into technology.
