Frazer-Nash Consultancy is seeking an experienced Lead Data & AI Architect to shape the architecture vision for data, analytics and GenAI across regulated environments. The role requires strategic leadership across enterprise data platforms, governance and security, and collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading Data and AI architecture in complex/regulatory environments.
• Experience shaping architecture strategy for analytics, automation and Generative AI.
• Solid understanding of enterprise data platforms and integration.
• Experience acting as a design authority with governance processes.
• Security and data sovereignty knowledge.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to communicate to non-technical audiences.
• Desirable: experience in highly regulated sectors (defence, nuclear, energy, transport or government).
• Knowledge of cloud-based Data AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and own strategic Data AI architectures across complex organisations.
• Manage the development of enterprise data platforms, analytics, automation and Generative AI solutions.
• Act as a design authority and provide architecture assurance for significant digital programmes and products.
• Establish architecture standards, reference architectures, governance processes and reusable patterns.
• Manage technical risk and balance innovation with security and long-term value.
• Provide direction on data governance, security and model lifecycle management.
• Advise senior stakeholders on technology strategy and investments.
• Improve consistency and reuse across Digital & AI products and teams.
• Mentor architects, engineers and technical leaders.
• Support adoption of emerging technologies with governance and assurance.
