Job summary

Frazer-Nash Consultancy is seeking an experienced Lead Data & AI Architect to shape the architecture vision for Data & AI across our Digital & AI capability. You will lead strategic architecture directions, govern reference architectures, and mentor technical teams for secure, scalable solutions in regulated environments.

The role requires strong governance, stakeholder influencing skills, and the ability to balance innovation with long-term value.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading Data and AI architecture within complex or regulated environments.
• Solid understanding of enterprise data platforms, integration architectures and modern Data & AI technologies.
• Experience coaching, mentoring and developing architecture, engineering or technical delivery capability.

Responsibilities

• Define and own strategic Data & AI architectures across complex organisations.
• Manage development of enterprise data platforms, analytics, automation and Generative AI solutions.
• Act as design authority and provide architecture assurance for major digital programmes and products.
• Establish architecture standards, reference architectures, governance processes and reusable patterns.
• Manage technical risk and balance innovation with security and maintainability.
• Advise senior stakeholders on technology strategy, delivery approaches and investment decisions.
• Improve consistency and reuse across Digital & AI products, platforms and delivery teams.
• Mentor architects, engineers and technical leaders to build capability.
