Job summary

GCS is seeking a Senior Data Administrator on a 3-month contract with strong potential to go permanent. The role focuses on managing MIS, enhancing data systems, and delivering dashboards to drive data-led decisions across multiple sites.

You will ensure GDPR compliance, data governance and provide training and support to users, acting as a senior escalation point for data-related issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in educational data administration and MIS systems.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and collaboration tools.
• Experience with data reporting, governance and compliance.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• SQL, database management, BigQuery, or reporting tools experience desirable.

Are you an experienced Data Administrator with a passion for data, systems, and reporting? We're seeking a talented professional to join a growing education organisation, supporting data operations across multiple sites and helping drive data-led decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise MIS, reporting, and cloud-based data systems.
• Support statutory and external reporting requirements.
• Ensure GDPR compliance, data integrity, and governance standards.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and actionable insights for key stakeholders.
• Provide training and support to users across the organisation.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in educational data administration and MIS systems
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure/Intune and Google Workspace
• Experience with data reporting, governance, and compliance
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills
• SQL, database management, BigQuery, or reporting tools experience desirable
