Job summary

CrowdStrike Inc. is seeking an experienced security incident responder to detect, contain, and remediate breaches across Windows, Mac, and Linux. You will drive incident handling, perform malware analysis, and mentor analysts while communicating findings to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in incident handling for organizations and investigations of threats such as APTs, organized crime, and hacktivists.
• Background using forensic analysis tools in incident investigations to determine scope of compromise.
• Understanding of system internals to implement countermeasures and remediation.
• Knowledge of network protocols and analysis tools; ability to analyze network logs.
• Ability to perform static and dynamic malware analysis to understand malware behavior.
• Strong understanding of targeted attacks and remediation planning.
• Experience with secure network architecture and network operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct monitoring and in-depth analysis of security alerts.
• Lead incident handling across Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• Perform malware analysis and remote remediation of malicious activity.
• Develop and improve incident detection and triage processes.
• Produce written/verbal communications and findings for customer management.
• Mentor lower-level analysts and provide quality assurance.
