Job summary

Alpine F1 Team, a Renault Group company, seeks a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to lead and execute the cyber security strategy across our systems in the United Kingdom. • Experience aligning with security standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).

Responsibilities

• Deliver and continuously improve technical and procedural controls for the organisation's cyber security posture.
• Act as technical authority for security infrastructure (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, vulnerability tools, pentesting tooling).
• Lead deployment, configuration, and tuning of security systems for resilience.
• Lead security incident response from detection to containment, eradication, and recovery; conduct root-cause analyses.
• Mentor IT staff and uplift capability across cyber security practices.
• Ensure alignment with internal controls and support audits and reviews.
• Contribute to security roadmaps and risk registers; drive CI/CSF alignment across projects.
• Coordinate with Renault CISO teams and Alpine units to promote secure practices.
