Job summary

Alpine F1 Team in Enstone is seeking an Inspector for a 6-month fixed-term weekend night shift. You will inspect metallic and composite components against engineering drawings, verify material documentation, and ensure traceability throughout manufacturing.

You’ll work closely with Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing teams to drive first-off inspection accuracy and continuous improvement. Join a high-performance motorsport environment where precision, speed and quality are critical.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering background with the ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings (including GD&T).
• Experience using inspection equipment and documenting findings accurately.
• Proactive, collaborative and solution-oriented in a manufacturing/quality environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect components to engineering drawings using GD&T and agreed sampling rates.
• Verify material and treatment documentation in line with specifications.
• Using PolyWorks Inspection software.
• Clearly document and raise any non-conformances within company systems.
• Provide first-off inspection support and technical feedback to manufacturing departments.
• Maintain accurate inspection and job completion records.
• Ensure parts are correctly marked and traceable in line with standard operating procedures.
• Work collaboratively with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Contribute to efficiency improvements and inspection best practice.
• Meet production deadlines and departmental requirements using systems such as Work To Lists, DOAs, and D365.
