Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in the United Kingdom is seeking a L3 SOC Analyst / Security Engineer to investigate and respond to security incidents escalated by the Security Operations team on a 1-year FTC with high potential to extend. Hybrid working arrangements are available across Liverpool, Glasgow and London.

You will perform detailed security event analysis, collaborate with external security providers, and lead hands-on remediation to strengthen controls across cloud and enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations, incident response, threat detection.
• Strong understanding of cyber attack techniques, threat actor methodologies, and appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Experience in end to end cyber security investigation and hands-on remediation.
• Exposure of detection engineering.
• Experience securing cloud-based and enterprise collaboration environments.
• Familiarity with attack frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
