Job summary

UK Home Office in Glasgow (hybrid) is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Risk Manager to plan and implement organisation-wide Secure by Design processes. You will monitor uptake and effectiveness, and propose improvements across the organisation.

You will lead risk reviews, craft risk treatment plans, and communicate risks to executives, while promoting a standardised approach and supporting project teams with templates and checklists.

Qualifications

• Experience overseeing risk reviews and communicating risks to others.
• Planning and delivery of project level activities.
• Auditing and maintaining audit trails in line with standards.
• Executive stakeholder engagement and management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Secure by Design activities are part of the organisation's gate review life cycle to address security risks early.
• Elevate projects with low security confidence for extra support or oversight.
• Promote a standardised Secure by Design approach across projects, programmes and portfolios.
• Encourage use of templates, tools, and checklists to apply Secure by Design principles consistently.
