Renaissance Infotech Limited is seeking a Senior Cyber and Information Security Engineer in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on managing security initiatives from incident response to strategic planning, collaborating with development and IT teams to embed security across technology environments.

The candidate will strengthen security practices, advise leadership on risk and governance, and drive the ISMS and security posture across the firm.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification or NVQ Level 6 with experience.
• Experience with external security operations or managed detection and response providers.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, NIST CSF or CIS Controls.
• Experience embedding security checks into SDLC and deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver cyber and information security strategy and roadmap.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior leaders on cyber risk, governance and compliance.
• Own and continually enhance the ISMS and security governance framework.
• Lead ISO 27001, NIST CSF, Cyber Essentials Plus initiatives and security best practices.
• Oversee security operations, incident response and threat management activities.
• Manage security suppliers, partners and MSPs and coordinate audits.
