Royal Mail in London is seeking a Senior Cyber Engineer to lead the development and optimisation of key security technologies and provide senior technical leadership across the security tooling estate. You will work closely with security leaders, architects, and operations to ensure tools are configured effectively and deliver meaningful insights to Security Operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or Cyber Security (or equivalent).
• 5+ years in a security engineering role within a large, complex organisation.
• Relevant technical or professional security qualifications.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and develop key security technologies ensuring Security Operations has reliable access to tools and information.
• Improve configuration and performance of supporting security technologies with architects and ops teams.
• Lead technical activity to strengthen protection and logging across new and existing technologies.
• Act as a senior technical expert for security projects and support transition to BAU.
• Produce KPI/KRI reporting with recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Build relationships across technology teams and provide guidance on security tool placement and support.
• Lead and direct third-party suppliers to meet delivery timescales and SLAs.
• Coach and develop junior engineers to support delivery of a small team.
