Job summary

A fast-growing financial services firm in London is seeking a Senior Cyber Engineer to join their team. You will work on safeguarding their infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft 365 and Azure security. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in identity and access management, along with a strong knowledge of cloud security principles. This is a delivery-focused role requiring ownership of security engineering projects from design through to implementation, offering competitive compensation and a supportive work environment.

Senior Cyber EngineerLondon – 2 days a week onsite£90,000 – £95,000 plus 12% bonus, private health insurance and much moreiO are working with an established and rapidly growing Financial Services company who are looking for a Senior Cyber Engineer to join them on a permanent basisFounded over 20 years ago, they specialise in Investment management, providing financial advisors and specialist solutions.In this role you will work closely with the Head of Technology Operations & Cyber, focusing on safeguarding the company infrastructure and ensuring their technology runs smoothly, securely and reliably. You will be the SME in identity, access, and cloud security controls, supporting the secure operation and working predominantly within Microsoft 365, Azure, and Salesforce environmentsThis is a hands-on, delivery-focused role owning security engineering projects end-to-end from design and planning through to implementation, documentation and transition into BAUWe are looking for experience in:

• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security capabilities, Azure cloud security concepts and Zero Trust principles
• Significant hands-on experience administering and securing identity and access management platforms in a complex enterprise environment
• Strong knowledge of adaptive access and MFA, RBAC and least privilege, Privileged Access Management, Data Loss Prevention, Identity Governance & access reviews, application onboarding and modern authentication
• Proven experience delivering end-to-end security or platform engineering projects in cloud environments
• Ability to translate regulatory and security requirements into pragmatic technical controls.
• SIEM/XDR tooling experience, such as Microsoft Sentinel.
• Experience contributing to security architecture and design decisions.
