Job summary

Airfinity is seeking an Analyst or Senior Analyst to join our Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolic (CVRM) team. You will conduct in-depth research and deliver high-quality intelligence to support client decisions in pharma and life sciences.

The role focuses on CVRM diseases, forecasting, competitive intelligence, data visualisation and client-facing projects, with opportunities to present insights to clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in a scientific discipline, preferably CVRM-focused.
• PhD preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience in pharmaceutical forecasting, competitive intelligence, consulting or client-facing analytics.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex science into commercial insights.
• Experience with data visualization, dashboards and storytelling.
• Interest in using AI tools to enhance research and insight generation.
• Experience with R, SQL or Python is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality intelligence reports and analyses across the CVRM landscape.
• Research emerging scientific and commercial developments.
• Track clinical trials, drug candidates, pipelines, launches and positioning.
• Support candidate assessment and whitespace/opportunity identification.
• Contribute to bespoke forecasting and research projects from planning through delivery.
• Turn complex data into compelling insights, visualisations, reports and presentations.
• Present research findings and strategic insights to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Develop into a trusted scientific partner for clients with CVRM knowledge.
