Job summary

Valarian Technologies seeks a Senior Customer Deployment Engineer to lead installation, upgrades, and delivery of ACRA in customer environments. You will guide deployments, validate readiness, and hand over operations, mixing hands-on Kubernetes with strong customer communication.

You will work onsite and remotely, collaborating with infrastructure, platform, product, and engineering teams to improve tooling and documentation. Hybrid work includes London HQ collaboration.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production deployment and troubleshooting on Kubernetes.
• Solid Linux networking, TLS, and storage fundamentals.
• Experience delivering upgrades with backup and validation.
• Familiarity with Helm, GitOps and deployment automation.
• Customer-facing delivery and expectation management.
• Clear, concise communication with engineers and stakeholders.
• Operational judgment to decide when to proceed or pause.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer installations from discovery to handover.
• Gather requirements and map prerequisites across cluster and security layers.
• Install and configure ACRA using Wizard in cloud, on-prem, or hybrid.
• Act as primary technical contact during delivery and updates.
• Plan upgrades with backups, windows, and validation.
• Coordinate Kubernetes/OpenShift upgrades with infra teams.
• Improve unattended installation and health checks.
• Troubleshoot live deployments across Kubernetes, Linux, and storage.
• Document deployment runbooks and train customer operators.
• Turn feedback into improvements for ACRA and tooling.
