Valarian Technologies Limited is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to strengthen the Acra platform in London. Join a small, high-performing engineering team and contribute to secure, scalable production services with a focus on observability and resilience.

This role offers hybrid work from our London HQ or globally with team-level flexibility. You’ll own end-to-end reliability, implement security best practices, and collaborate with product engineering to shape secure, robust infrastructure across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Proficient in Go, Bash, Python.
• Deep experience with Kubernetes security and policy controls.
• Secure networking (TLS/mTLS, ingress/egress, VPN).
• Experience with service mesh tech (Istio/Linkerd/Consul Connect).
• Hands-on with Vault in production environments.
• Experience with load balancers and security protections.

Responsibilities

• Develop observability strategy for self-hosted deployments with metrics and logging.
• Engineer Acra platform for high availability and fault tolerance.
• Ensure 99.9% uptime for control plane and deployment management; plan disaster recovery.
• Architect highly available deployment setups for applications within Acra.
• Create robust backup and recovery strategies across products.
• Manage incident detection and paging to minimize disruptions.
• Scale platform to support large concurrent users with performance tuning.
• Collaborate with product engineering to shape design and reliability.
