Job summary

Valarian Technologies Limited is seeking a Release Engineer to own the end-to-end release lifecycle for the Acra platform. You will design and maintain secure, multi-cloud CI/CD pipelines, and implement air-gapped packaging for hardened deployments.

The role requires hands-on Cloud-Native engineering, expertise in Kubernetes, and a strong focus on supply chain security. London-based/hybrid work is available with potential remote arrangements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in Release Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE with a focus on secure software delivery pipelines.
• Deep Cloud-Native & Kubernetes expertise with hands-on experience in cloud-native infrastructure automation.
• Air-gapped or heterogeneous deployment experience including on-premise and edge environments.
• Strong understanding of software supply chain security, SBOMs, and provenance tracking.
• Experience designing enterprise CI/CD and GitOps pipelines with robust testing and rollback mechanisms.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, Bash, or Rust for release automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the Release Lifecycle: build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and release tooling across multi-cloud, hybrid, on-prem, and air-gapped environments.
• Architect air-gapped/offline packaging with reproducible artifacts (Helm charts, container images, binaries).
• Enforce software supply chain security with cryptographic signing and SBOM generation.
• Automate IaC and GitOps workflows to ensure deterministic updates across environments.
• Collaborate with platform, security, and app teams to standardize versioning and testing feedback loops.
• Drive release readiness and maintain audit trails and change logs for compliance.
