Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to operate and improve secure gateway services that enable controlled information flow between security domains. The role involves managing incidents, applying changes, and maintaining secure configurations in a hybrid on-site/remote setting at Yeovil.

You will work with security, engineering and customer stakeholders to ensure reliability, security and continuous improvement across the platforms and data transfers.

Qualifications

• Experience operating secure platforms in controlled environments.
• Strong service mindset balancing hands-on support, assurance, and documentation.
• Ability to work with security, service management and customer stakeholders to maintain integrity.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and support secure cross-domain gateway services in controlled environments.
• Monitor service health and manage incidents, problems and changes.
• Maintain secure configurations, transfer policies and baselines.
• Support patching, upgrades and vulnerability remediation.
• Troubleshoot across security boundaries and networks.
• Produce and maintain runbooks, documentation and build records.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance and availability.
