Job summary

National Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a Senior Criticality Consultant to lead technical delivery of criticality safety assessments across UK facilities and our Focus Areas. You will shape methodologies, mentor team members, and develop capability to support customers while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.

The role offers flexible location (Preston, Sellafield, Risley or Workington) with some travel, lead externally with customers, and represent UK in national and international

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent technical capability.
SQEP 3 with demonstrable experience in criticality safety.
Ability to obtain SC level security clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide technical lead delivery of criticality projects to time, cost, quality.
Direction and supervision of other criticality consultants.
Management of relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Advice, training and independent inspection.
Managing UKNNL's criticality support consultancy to external customers.
