Equinix is seeking a Critical Facilities Engineer (Level III) for the Slough campus. You will perform day-to-day maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, work with senior engineers on critical plant, and build up your authorisations to advance.

The role requires a trade background and hands-on experience in a commercial/industrial environment. You’ll help keep the plant running 24/7, participate in safety procedures, and grow with the team through progressive responsibilities and

Qualifications

• Trade background in electrical or mechanical engineering is required.
• Hands-on maintenance experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Experience in the UK and understanding of UK regulations and safe systems of work.

Responsabilités

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Assist senior engineers with repairs, fault-finding, and larger projects.
• Monitor and respond to alarms on the BMS with clear procedures.
• Maintain site logs and permits and support on-call rota.
