Equinix is seeking a Critical Facilities Engineer (Level IV) at the Slough campus to maintain and operate power distribution, standby generation, cooling, and fire systems in a 24/7 data centre environment. You will work alongside senior engineers, growing your authorisations, and taking ownership of on-site tasks.

The role requires hands-on maintenance in reliability-critical settings, with shifts and on-call responsibilities.

Qualificações

• Trade background in electrical or mechanical engineering (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• AM2 is preferred for electrical candidates.
• Hands-on maintenance experience in reliability-critical environments (manufacturing, utilities, large buildings).
• Experience with UK regulations and safe systems of work.

Responsabilidades

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Conduct fault-finding, repairs, installations and inspections.
• Monitor the BMS, respond to alarms and fix issues using established procedures.
• Coordinate with contractors, write and follow method statements, permits to work and switching procedures.
