Job summary

FleishmanHillard in London is seeking a Senior Account Manager for the Crisis and Issues team. You will lead retained crisis accounts, manage fast-paced tasks, and collaborate with global colleagues on complex issues and reputational threats.

The role requires experience handling crises, strong writing, and the ability to counsel clients confidently. Hybrid working is offered with a focus on delivering high-impact crisis communications.

Qualifications

• Experience handling crises, issues or incidents
• Experience within an agency environment
• Exceptional writer for crisis materials used in crisis contexts

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted point of contact for clients and crisis contacts, driving day-to-day activity and coordinating account teams
• Respond to live enquiries on retained accounts, supported by Senior Account Director or above
• Create simulations and table-top exercises as part of a broader team
• Lead crisis communications preparatory materials including playbooks and response plans
• Draft crisis and issues materials for various stakeholder groups
• Coordinate and manage clients during live crisis activations
• Monitor, report and analyze live incidents
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to presentations/pitches
• Assist in budget management, billing and client communications
• Develop and coach junior team members
