BCL Legal is recruiting a senior Crime & Regulatory Solicitor to step up to partner or join as a partner in Manchester. The role focuses on handling complex regulatory matters for businesses and individuals within a well-established firm.

You will lead the crime and regulatory team, develop client relationships, and contribute to strategic growth, governance, and profitability while mentoring junior lawyers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the crime and regulatory team.
• Develop internal referrer relationships and client partnerships.
• Proactively develop new business.
• Contribute to strategy and direction at a senior level.
• Provide contentious and non-contentious legal advice.
• Supervise and mentor other lawyers.
• Oversee governance, compliance, supplier and contract management.
• Manage budget and profitability for the team.
