Job summary

Mizuho EMEA is seeking a senior Credit Risk professional to oversee credit analysis for securitized products across the EMEA region. You will collaborate with front office origination and portfolio teams to assess risk, structure deals, and provide sound recommendations.

The role requires strong cash flow forecasting, stress testing, and knowledge of rating methodologies, with hybrid working between office and home. A track record in banking and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced credit analysis and research skills in securitized products.
• Familiarity with rating agency methodologies and their applications.
• Experience lending to and analyzing corporate finance propositions in EMEA.
• Interest in expanding analysis to other structured products like NAV/subscription facilities.
• Strong comprehension of markets and macroeconomic risk factors affecting credit.

Responsibilities

• Carry out credit analysis for securitization transactions (auto loans, trade receivables, CDOs).
• Support NBFI transactions with asset-based financing structures where possible.
• Prepare credit reports and recommendations for Senior Management.
• Attend meetings or on-site visits to deepen credit understanding.
• Monitor portfolio developments and flag risks to Senior Management.
• Conduct regular and ad-hoc internal credit reviews and liaise with front office teams.
