Job summary

Mizuho EMEA is seeking a Vice President to lead credit risk analysis and securitization coverage across EMEA. You will evaluate auto loans, consumer and corporate securitizations, and related structures, while supporting NBFI/Group 1 activities and front-office collaboration.

The role requires advanced credit modelling, strong communication skills, and the ability to guide senior management through complex risk judgements. Hybrid working arrangements apply in London and beyond.

Qualifications

• Advanced credit analysis and research skills for securitized products.
• Knowledge of rating agency methodologies and their application.
• Experience in corporate finance propositions in EMEA with securitization focus.
• Willingness to expand to other structured products like NAV or subscription facilities.
• Understanding of financial markets and macroeconomic risk factors.

Responsibilities

• Analyse credit applications for securitization transactions and related products.
• Prepare credit reports and recommendations to Senior Management.
• Attend meetings or on-site visits to understand credit scope and risks.
• Monitor risk factors across allocated sectors and communicate to Senior Management.
• Liaise with front office origination and portfolio management teams.
