Job summary

Principality is seeking a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join on a permanent contract. You will support the development and ongoing maintenance of the Society’s IRB systems for Retail Mortgage and Commercial portfolios, and coordinate monthly MI packs to the CMGC and MGC.

In addition, you will contribute to governance processes, maintaining documentation and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Strong analytical, communication and SAS/Excel skills are essential, with a track record

Qualifications

• Experience with Internal Ratings Based (IRB) systems is advantageous.
• Strong analytical capabilities across data manipulation and modelling.
• Familiarity with governance frameworks and policy documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Retail IRB scorecards and related models.
• Coordinate and deliver monthly MI packs to the CMGC and MGC.
• Respond to Model Governance Committee reviews and maintain supporting documentation.
• Support regulatory compliance through procedures aligned to SS1/23, SS4/24 and PRA rulebook.
