Join our team as a Credit Risk Analyst, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our credit risk acquisition and in-life strategy. You’ll be at the heart of our operations, working closely with commercial and trading teams to deliver data-driven insights and execute decisions within our credit risk policy. This role offers the opportunity to manage relationships with credit bureau partners and external data stakeholders, contributing to our cost-effective debt recovery strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and updating credit risk scorecards in line with product and package offerings.
- Building relationships with key stakeholders across the business to ensure a cohesive approach to risk.
- Supporting the development of a broader Debt & Fraud predictive model to enhance our end-to-end strategy.
- Managing a small team of credit underwriters to deliver effective decisions on non-automated credit risk cases.
- Continuously developing credit risk acquisition and in-life strategies.
- Supporting commercial and trading teams with data-driven guidance on financial risk and executing related decisions.
- Managing credit bureau partnerships, assessing and integrating new products and data opportunities based on business value.
- Ensuring credit scorecards are regularly updated to reflect product changes, enabling detailed performance reporting.
- Identifying ways credit risk insights can support cost-effective debt recovery improvements.
- Managing external data stakeholders to enhance modeling capabilities and monitor model performance against expectations.
- Providing detailed project requirements to mitigate financial risk during changes.
- Analyzing acquisition strategies and operational processes to improve customer management and suggest practical improvements.
- Owning and assessing the company’s Credit Acquisition scorecard to optimize predictive power using internal and external data sources.
- Supporting strategic changes, working with change teams to ensure successful implementation and measurement.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across departments to clarify processes, set objectives, and ensure a unified risk approach.
- Producing and developing analyses related to consumer acquisition, debt, churn, and operational performance.
- Supporting the development of wider Debt & Fraud predictive models for end-to-end strategy enhancement.
- Working with Finance teams on OPEX, budgets, churn, and cash flow forecasting.
- Providing statistical data to PM teams for reporting and strategic projects.
- Delivering insights related to credit bureau data.
- Maintaining audit standards in all work, including process documentation and report development.
Credit Risk Operations:
