Job summary

Gain is expanding its Intelligence Origination team into Credit. The role focuses on sourcing proprietary, transaction-level credit intelligence across live and announced private equity-related transactions.

You will cultivate a trusted network of lenders, investment bankers, and lawyers to uncover proprietary market intelligence for the Gain platform. You will transform insights into clean, machine-readable data to power client workflows and support faster, more informed investment decisions in

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in private credit, leveraged finance, M&A or related field.
• Experience sourcing market intelligence through journalism, research, origination or investor relations.
• Background in private credit deal coverage preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a network of sources including lenders, investment bankers, sponsors, advisors and lawyers.
• Conduct daily off-record conversations to surface non-public credit intelligence.
• Ensure high-quality sourcing of proprietary datapoints feeding the Gain platform.
• Collaborate with in-house analysts to ensure data completeness, consistency and structured format.
• Support expansion of the real-time transaction tracker and contribute to internal market intelligence sharing.
