Job summary

SF Partners in Nottingham is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller / Collections Specialist for an initial 6-month contract with potential to go permanent. You will manage a large live ledger, drive collections and resolve aged debt.

The role requires strong credit control experience, the ability to reduce aged debt, and proficiency with Excel. Knowledge of SAP or HighRadius is a plus. This hybrid position offers 3 days home working and a flexible pattern.

Qualifications

• Proven track record across credit control and collections.
• Experience reducing aged debt.
• Experience managing live accounts with high value.
• Broad credit experience including debt collection, cash allocation, credit risk, queries and insolvency.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of live customer accounts with a combined value of £10m+
• Proactively chasing and collecting outstanding debt
• Reviewing aged debt and implementing strategies to reduce overdue balances
• Managing cash allocation and account reconciliations
• Assessing and monitoring credit risk
• Investigating and resolving complex account and invoice queries
• Supporting and managing accounts through insolvency processes where required
• Building relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Producing and analysing credit and collections information using Excel
