Job summary

Amoria Group in Manchester is seeking a Senior Credit Controller to join the Finance Operations team. You will manage complex ledgers, drive collections performance and reduce aged debt while maintaining strong client relationships across UK and US operations.

You will own the end-to-end credit control process, support process improvements and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to overall finance function efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Credit Controller or similar role.
• Proven track record in managing complex ledgers and high value accounts.
• Experience reducing debtor days and improving cash collection.

Responsibilities

• Manage and collect outstanding debt across complex ledgers.
• Reduce debtor days and improve cash flow.
• Monitor aged debt and escalate high risk accounts.
• Conduct ledger reviews and provide performance updates.
• Issue statements, reminders and resolve invoice queries.
• Negotiate payment plans with clients.
• Liaise with legal representatives on escalations.
• Credit risk assessments for new/existing clients.
• Build relationships with clients and internal teams.
