Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group in Goole is seeking a Senior Credit Controller to join a busy finance team on a temporary ongoing basis. You will own aged debt, resolve complex invoice queries and drive payments with customers and internal stakeholders.

The role requires experience in credit control or accounts receivable, a proven track record of reducing aged debt and strong communication skills. You will handle high volumes of queries using Excel, Word and Outlook and work closely with the wider

Qualifications

• Significant experience within Credit Control or Accounts Receivable.
• Proven track record of reducing aged debt and improving cash collection.
• Strong experience resolving complex invoice queries and disputes.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle potentially difficult customer conversations with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of aged and overdue debt, prioritising invoices in query.
• Investigate and resolve complex invoice disputes delaying payment.
• Liaise with internal teams to obtain supporting documentation and resolve queries.
• Maintain regular communication with customers via phone, email and meetings.
• Provide updates on aged debt, disputed invoices and recovery progress.
• Support the wider Accounts Receivable function as required.
