Venture Recruitment Partners is partnering with a well-established business in Hampshire seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join the finance team. You will manage a portfolio of key accounts, drive cash collection, and build strong relationships to improve debtor days.

Reporting into the Credit Manager, you will review credit limits, produce aged debt reports, mentor junior staff, and help optimise credit control processes while supporting month-end reporting and cash forecasting.

Qualificações

• Previous experience as Senior Credit Controller or Credit Control role.
• Strong track record of reducing aged debt and improving cash collection.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confident negotiating payment terms and handling challenging conversations.
• Strong attention to detail and account reconciliation experience.
• Ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems.

Responsabilidades

• Proactively chasing overdue payments via telephone, email and written correspondence.
• Building strong relationships with customers to resolve payment queries efficiently.
• Undertaking account reconciliations and resolving disputed invoices.
• Reviewing and assessing customer credit limits and making recommendations.
• Producing aged debt reports and communicating collection performance to senior stakeholders.
• Escalating high-risk accounts and recommending appropriate action.
• Supporting month-end processes, including reporting and cash forecasting.
• Identifying opportunities to improve credit control processes and procedures.
• Mentoring and supporting junior members of the credit control team.

We are partnering with a well-established and growing business in Hampshire that is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and commercially minded professional who enjoys building strong relationships, improving processes and driving cash collection performance.
