Job summary

Gunvor Group in London seeks an experienced Credit Analyst to manage a global counterparty credit risk portfolio. You will analyze quantitative and qualitative information to advise on credit limits, ratings and terms.

The role includes supporting negotiations of credit arrangements, monitoring exposures in the EMEA region, and ensuring adherence to group credit policies while collaborating with internal teams and external counterparties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk.
• Experience with counterparties in commodity trading (base metals, precious metals).
• Strong financial analysis and risk assessment skills; able to form independent recommendations.
• Knowledge of ISDA and CSA documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth credit assessments of counterparties.
• Review and respond to day-to-day trade requests from commercial teams, including structured transactions.
• Evaluate and support structuring of complex multi-commodity and long-term transactions.
• Support negotiation and administration of credit arrangements and master trading agreements.
• Monitor and manage a portfolio of counterparties, focusing on exposures and emerging risks.
• Ensure compliance with group credit policies and procedures.
