Job summary

Prospex Recruitment is seeking a Senior Creative Project Manager in Berkhamsted for a hybrid role. You will manage client relationships, coordinate design and production teams, and ensure timely, high-quality packaging design delivery, aligning with customer expectations and billing requirements.

The ideal candidate has experience in creative packaging and project management, with strong communication and organizational skills, and the ability to lead high-profile projects and brand redesigns.

• Able to translate briefs into clear deliverables and timelines.
• Good grasp of creative processes and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive client relationships.

• Ensure artwork projects are managed professionally from start to finish.
• Support the Design Team to keep Style Guides accurate.

Senior Creative Project Manager

Location: Berkhamsted (Hybrid Working)

Role

Establish and maintain positive client relationships, working closely with the design team and production teams to ensure information transfer and job delivery are seamless parts of the customer experience and that all work delivered meets with customer expectations. Develop strong and sustainable relationships with your client contacts. Accurately record all work activity in order for the business to bill correctly.

• Maintain regular and excellent customer contact, building key relationships and developing an awareness of the customer's actual service requirements.
• Clear and effective communication with the customer and delivery of high quality design deliverables and presentations.
• Provide regular communication to your team to ensure business direction, performance and expectations are clear and understood.
• Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the Adaptive Design team, delivery manager and onsite Project Managers.
• Present to the client with the appropriate design lead to gain clarification and approval of designs.
• Hold regular 'one to one' update meetings with your direct reports to discuss work opportunities and performance, and to provide coaching and review training requirements for the wider team.
• Build and sustain strong client relationships including Category, Brand and Design.
• Manage client expectations by providing regular project updates.
• Be approachable at all times with a willingness to listen and solve issues.
• Own and be responsible for ensuring that all artwork projects are managed in a professional manner.
• Support the Design Team to ensure Style Guides are accurate at all times.
• Be able to run high profile projects and brand redesigns.
• Brief information into the Design Studio Teams, ensuring data gathered up front is complete and accurate.
• Prioritise workload through production, liaising closely with the adaptive design and production hubs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in creative packaging design and project management.
• Experience within retail / brand packaging - ideally food / beverage etc.
• Have good knowledge of print and repro processes.
• PC literate - Google suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable liaising with creatives, clients, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Calm under pressure with strong decision-making skills and a solutions-focused approach
• Able to translate creative briefs into clear deliverables and timelines.
• Good grasp of creative processes and terminology
• Skilled at managing feedback, facilitating approvals, and keeping all parties aligned
• Strong organisational skills along with ability to multitask.
