Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies International Ltd in Cambridge is seeking a Senior CPU Verification Engineer to validate CPU and SOC micro-architectures. You will work with Chip Architects to ensure launch-readiness for the end product in a dynamic onsite team.

Responsibilities include developing verification plans and testbenches, creating scalable DV environments, running regressions, and reporting progress with Bugs and Coverage metrics. Strong leadership and RTL/verification experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or related field with 2+ years ASIC design, verification, validation, integration or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Science, Engineering or related field with 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration or related work experience.
• PhD in Science, Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Work with CPU and SOC Architects to understand concepts and high-level system requirements.
• Develop detailed Test and Coverage plans based on Architecture and Micro-architecture.
• Develop Verification Methodology, ensuring scalability and portability across environments.
• Develop Verification environment with Stimulus, Checkers, Assertions, Trackers and Coverage.
• Develop Verification Plans and Testbenches for your functional domain.
• Execute Verification Plans including DV environment Bring-up and regressions, debug failures.
• Track and report DV progress using Bugs and Coverage metrics.
