Job summary

McKesson / ClarusONE Sourcing Services LLP in London is seeking a UK-qualified Senior Counsel for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract to support business teams on routine legal matters and commercial transactions, mainly relating to generic pharmaceutical sourcing in the U.S. market. Flexible working is available.

The role requires a UK solicitor or barrister with at least 3 years PQE, in-house or law-firm experience, and familiarity with healthcare regulation and procurement.

Qualifications

• UK Solicitor or Barrister with PQE ≥ 3 years.
• Experience in corporate/commercial in-house teams or law firms.
• Healthcare regulatory environment experience, pharmaceutical procurement preferred.
• Proficiency with standard office software (O365).

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated legal support to ClarusONE’s business teams in London.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, amendments, and standard terms for generics procurement, IT agreements, vendor terms, and intercompany documentation.
• Participate in contract negotiations and communicate with generic pharmaceutical suppliers on contract issues.
