Job summary

Linesight is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to join our global project and cost management consultancy. You will lead cost planning, valuation, and reporting across client developments, ensuring value for money and clear cost documentation.

Relocation to the United States is supported, with visa-related expenses covered. You will mentor teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and drive best-value outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Quantity Surveying qualification with 3+ years post grad experience.
• Experience as Cost Manager/QS, ideally from a consultancy background.
• Chartered (RICS) or on path to complete it.
• Degree in a project management or construction discipline.
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Participate in tender/bid process from documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Manage change management process: identify, analyse, approve, implement changes affecting cost.
• Analyze tenders/bids to ensure client value for money.
• Assist in final accounts, including handling claims to ensure best value.
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments.
• Oversee project spend with valuations and cost reports; communicate variations.
• Support cost documentation and timely communication for decisions.
• Assist settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency.
• Mentor and develop staff to foster top performance.
