Rider Levett Bucknall is seeking a Senior Cost Manager for a Bedford-based project. The role requires client-side leadership in cost management for highways and infrastructure, with three days on-site per week and hybrid working.

Qualifications

• Proven cost management/quantity surveying experience on roads, highways or major civil infra projects.
• Experience leading client-side commercial management for complex packages.
• Strong cost planning, estimating, procurement and post-contract duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost management leadership for Roads & Bridges package.
• Lead cost planning, procurement and commercial delivery across design, procurement and construction.
• Manage cost reporting, forecasting, risk and change control across the programme.
• Collaborate with stakeholders including authorities, consultants and contractors.
• Ensure value-based procurement and robust governance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Administer NEC contracts and support commercial readiness and handover.
