Job summary

QinetiQ in the UK seeks a Senior Cost Engineer to support complex LC M4 projects at Bristol or Boscombe Down. You will develop estimates, Basis of Estimate, and cost models across bids and delivery.

The role requires leading cost assessments, advising on risk, and guiding enabling functions to apply cost engineering best practices. Eligible for SC clearance; 37 hours weekly with a hybrid pattern (3 days on-site).

Qualifications

• Experience in cost engineering across the full project lifecycle.
• Expertise in quantitative analysis techniques.
• Strong commercial awareness in project environments.

Responsibilities

• Drives best practice, application and implementation of cost engineering in bids, projects and programmes.
• Work with project teams to develop and maintain high-quality estimates and basis of estimate using cost engineering methods.
• Produce reports on cost engineering data to support decision making.
