Job summary

People Group is seeking an experienced Senior Cost Controller to support a major infrastructure project. You will act as a key business partner to site operations and finance, overseeing budgets, cost performance, and risk forecasting to enable informed decisions and successful delivery.

The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SAP, Excel and Power BI, and the ability to monitor earned value, forecast costs, and communicate findings to senior management.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in cost control or financial control on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to translate data into insights.
• Proficient with SAP, Excel and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Monitor budgets, cost performance, and variances against plans.
• Conduct Earned Value Analysis (CPI/SPI) to assess performance.
• Prepare forecasts of future costs aligned with progress.
• Develop financial scenarios to support decision-making.
• Produce reports, dashboards, and KPIs for senior management.
• Ensure financial controls and compliance with policies.
• Mentor junior team members.
