Job summary

GE HealthCare seeks a Senior Cost Accountant for Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) to oversee COGS, standard costing, and product costing in a manufacturing setting. You will manage costing for materials, labor, and overhead, ensuring accurate COGS reporting and adherence to US GAAP DISE requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Significant experience in manufacturing cost accounting.
• Strong knowledge of product costing, standard costing, inventory accounting, COGS analysis, PPV, FIFO.
• Experience partnering with manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and manufacturing overhead.
• Oversee the calculation and reporting of product manufacturing costs.
• Analyze COGS, reconciling Balance Sheet and P&L movements with drivers and FX impacts.
• Ensure accurate US GAAP DISE reporting related to COGS.
• Partner with manufacturing and supply chain to ensure costing accuracy.
• Lead cost analyses, budgeting, forecasting, and decision support with ISC/FP&A.
