Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant for the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) business. You will oversee cost accounting, COGS analysis, standard costing, and inventory valuation, partnering with manufacturing and supply chain to ensure costing accuracy.

The role requires deep experience in manufacturing cost accounting, PPV, FIFO, and GAAP reporting. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and cost improvements within a global matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA, CIMA, or ACCA, or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Significant experience in manufacturing cost accounting and product costing.
• Strong knowledge of COGS analysis, PPV, FIFO, and variance reporting in manufacturing.
• Experience partnering with manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and manufacturing overhead.
• Oversee calculation and reporting of product manufacturing costs and COGS.
• Analyze COGS and reconcile Balance Sheet and P&L movements with drivers and FX impacts.
• Lead PPV and FIFO processes, including forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
• Provide business decision support and pricing insights with FP&A.
• Drive simplification, control improvements, and SOX-compliant processes.
