Job summary

Montresor Legal seeks an experienced corporate/transactional lawyer who is exploring a move into a senior, practice-facing role. You will work closely with partners to optimise team resourcing, oversee workloads and contribute to development, training and recruitment across the practice.

You should bring at least five years’ practising‑lawyer experience, a corporate background, and the commercial judgement needed to thrive in a high‑performing transactional environment; hybrid London work

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience as a practising lawyer.
• Corporate background preferred; transactional disciplines also considered.
• Commercial judgement and understanding of high‑performing transactional teams.
• Comfortable with data, workloads, and performance review processes.

Responsibilities

• Embed within the practice and work directly with partners, counsel, associates and trainees.
• Assist with allocation of lawyers to matters, balancing client needs and workload.
• Monitor workloads, deal flow and utilisation; identify resourcing needs.
• Contribute to training programmes, development conversations and career planning.
• Involve in recruitment, onboarding and transitions for lawyers and trainees.
