Job summary

TPF Recruitment recruits for a highly regarded top-tier accountancy practice in Chatham. They seek a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to lead complex tax compliance and advisory work, managing key client relationships and driving growth across Kent and the South East.

You will mentor junior staff, work with Partners, and oversee deadlines and budgets while maintaining HMRC compliance and high professional standards. Flexible full-time/part-time arrangements are considered.

Qualifications

• CTA and/or ACA qualification with significant corporate tax advisory experience.
• Strong technical expertise within an accountancy practice environment.
• Proven ability to manage complex client portfolios and advisory projects.
• Experience mentoring and developing staff in a tax team.
• Commercially aware with strong client relationship management skills.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills with ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex corporate tax compliance and advisory services.
• Manage a substantial portfolio of corporate clients and key relationships.
• Provide strategic tax planning advice to owner-managed businesses and shareholders.
• Lead advisory assignments including restructuring, succession planning and transactions.
• Oversee project budgets, workflow and client deadlines.
• Support Partners on high-level technical and client matters.
• Mentor, develop and review the work of junior team members.
• Identify opportunities for business development and cross-selling services.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC and professional body standards.
